I have a passion for brands and storytelling. With 15 years of experience primarily from the film production and campaign management disciplines, I have demonstrated exceptional motivation and well-rounded experience. Combining my work as a creative film producer with direct client and agency experience allows me to bridge the gap and create beautiful and effective multi-dimensional campaigns. My attention to detail and ability to see a campaign from concept to distribution sets me apart from my peers and allows me to quickly solve any issues that may arise.
Being hands on is an important part of my content creation process. When on set I not only supervise the execution of the overall strategy and lead my team, but I have also played the part of set designer, stylist, art director, location scout, and director. I enjoy getting my hands dirty and am not above gaffa taping lights together or standing in for a missing crew member. My extensive experience with project management ensures that not only the creative vision is captured, but all content is created on time, on budget, and with positive stakeholder management.
My experience is the definition of international. Starting my career in California, I have worked in-house with brands and agencies in Boston, NYC, London, Copenhagen, and Cape Town. My outgoing personality and genuine interest in new people provides me with the skills to easily adapt to my environment and team while ensuring everyone around me feels included and motivated.
While I am passionate about the work that I do, I am more than my title. In my spare time I travel extensively, seeking inspiration everywhere I go. Though it's impossible to pick a favorite spot, Africa holds a special place in my heart. Having spent a recent birthday trekking with mountain gorillas in Uganda and a Christmas savoring the coffee and culture in Ethiopia. When I can't escape quite so far away I enjoy getting lost on the cobblestone streets of Europe's beautiful cities or taking in a gig from one of my top bands.
My Master's studies included market creation management, brand strategy, consumer experience, and innovation management. However, the complexity of luxury and premium brands is where I found my calling. For my thesis I explored the struggles and strengths of luxury brand management in South Africa and emerging markets.
